The Hour Of The Shortest Shadow.
Reality becomes transparent.
Art loses the privilege of unveiling the truth.
And spectacle...spectacle turns into a shelter that makes
you feel unsatisfied.
Only those who work with occultation as a strategy,
are the ones who are reacting against that unnecessary
transparency and therefore against the elimination of the enigmatic dimension on art.
"The Hour of the Shortest Shadow" presents important
works of art covered or protected for whatever reason
moments before being displayed to the public, as if they
were waiting for their own decline.
Like that, safe from all eyes,
they preserve the enigma that feeds the desire,
they reach that mystic distance to the audience,
because once their veil is removed... Once exposed, only representation will prevail and therefore the evidence of
the nothingness.

El mundo se torna transparente.
El arte pierde su privilegio de desocultar la verdad.
Y el espectáculo... el espectáculo
se convierte en un refugio que te deja insatisfecho.
Sólo aquellos que trabajan con la estrategia de la ocultación,
reaccionan contra esa transparencia del mundo,
y en consecuencia,
contra la eliminación de la dimensión enigmática del arte.

arte esperan protegidas, ocultas su momento de exposición
y ocaso.
Así, a salvo de la mirada,
mantienen el enigma que alimenta el deseo,
alcanzan aquella ancestral distancia mística entre arte y
